Truthbrush Bamboo Toothbrushes

Sometimes the quality just isn't right, the bristles just fall out in your mouth mid-brush, the size of the head is too large, not scuplted enough so feels super awkward to even fit in your mouth. A large majority of the time the bristles are actually plastic and you have to snap the head off before popping the handle in your composting.

Thankfully I found this range from Truthbrush! They've actually thought of pretty much everything. It's a bamboo toothbrush, but it's got a really nice shape to it, the head is small and the bristles are scuplted to give you a good brush. The end of the brush is painted in 1 of 4 different colours, both so that you can tell them apart but also so the wood doesn't soak up any 'juices' from whatever vessel you like to stand yours up in.

The two big things for me though are...

The bristles aren't plastic, they're made from castor oil! I have absolutely no idea how this sort of filament wizardry is possible but that means the whole brush is plastic-free.

Secondly I love that the wood is treated with a natural plant-based oil so it's smooth! It doesn't feel like your brushing your teeth with any old bit of unfinished wood!
